Every Monday night at Fatcat Ballroom, Chad, Marie & Vladi host American Smooth Night in Phoenix. These classes highlight posture, musicality, and flowing movement across the floor — perfect for beginners building a foundation or intermediate dancers polishing their technique.
Each week includes two lessons (Beginner & Intermediate) followed by Guided Practice, giving you the chance to learn, refine, and carry your dancing with confidence.
What to Expect
Glide into Mondays with grace! Begin with the essentials in the beginner class, then layer on technique and expression in the intermediate session before carrying it all to the floor in guided practice.
With Chad & Marie leading the way, you’ll refine your frame, strengthen your movement, and experience the timeless flow of American Smooth ballroom dance.

Each class is $10 and guided practice with the instructors is just $5 with either class.
No partner needed — everyone is welcome.
