Every Monday night at Fatcat Ballroom – Phoenix Dance Studio, Chad, Marie & Vladi host Smooth Night in Phoenix, featuring American Smooth and International Standard styles. These classes highlight posture, musicality, and flowing movement across the floor — perfect for beginners building a foundation or intermediate dancers polishing their technique.

 

Each week includes two progressive lessons followed by guided practice, giving you the chance to learn, refine, and carry your dancing with confidence.​

Mondays 6:00PM — $10 per class drop-in | Guided Practice Session $5 No registration needed.​

Class Schedule

What to expect on Monday Nights

  • 6:00–6:45 pm – Waltz Dance Lesson for Beginners

  • 6:45-7:30 pm – Intermediate Waltz Class

  • 7:30–8:00 pm – Guided practice with the Teachers

Glide into Mondays with grace! Begin with the essentials in the beginner class, then layer on technique and expression in the intermediate session before carrying it all to the floor in guided practice.

 

With Chad & Marie leading the way, you’ll refine your frame, strengthen your movement, and experience the timeless flow of Smooth & Standard ballroom.

Smooth Night is held weekly on Monday evenings at Fatcat Ballroom, 3131 E Thunderbird Rd, Suite #33, Phoenix, AZ 85032.

Each class is $10 and guided practice with the instructors is just $5 with either class.

No partner needed — everyone is welcome.
