Marie began teaching dance while she was attending college. She also has a background in figure skating and gymnastics. Marie's experience includes competing professionally in ballroom dance competitions, choreographing, and teaching social and competitive dance. Marie participates in Pro/Am, instructor/student, dance competitions, and has successfully coached students who have taken high placements at competitions nationally. Marie teaches dancers of all levels and especially enjoys teaching beginners who are learning to dance socially and amateur DanceSport competitors. Marie and her husband, Chad, have been dancing together for over 25 years!

Marie is an independent dance instructor, and she gives lessons at Fatcat Ballroom.
