Chair yoga offers the same benefits as traditional yoga except with added support. The chair will support some of your body weight, so movements are gentler on your joints and muscles. It will also help you balance as you focus on controlling your body movements.


While anyone can enjoy chair yoga, it's an especially great option for effective exercise if you cannot get up and down from the floor easily or have limited mobility, stiffness, pain, fatigue, muscle weakness, or balance issues.


Yoga can help you to increase your strength, flexibility, balance, endurance, and range of motion.

In this class, you will also be guided through breathing techniques and meditation that can reduce stress and anxiety while increasing mental clarity, focus, and relaxation.
